About

Hey! My name is Kieran Egan. Born and raised in St. Louis, I attended Metro Academic and Classical High School, where I earned both an IB and a high school diploma. I am currently a senior studying computer engineering at the University of Kansas. For the past year and a half, I have been working under the supervision of Dr. Esam El-Araby in the KU Advanced, Reconfigurable, and Quantum Computing (KUARQ) Research Group. My research focuses on FPGA applications for quantum information processing. In my free time, I enjoy playing soccer, running, reading, going on walks with my girlfriend, Iris, and exploring Kansas City.

Feel free to explore my website to learn more about my experience, research interests, and personal life. If you have any questions or would like to connect, please don't hesitate to reach out!
